Press 'Continue Shopping' to return to the store and add more products to the shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection, click on 'Proceed to Checkout'.
You can view your shopping cart at anytime by clicking on the "View Cart" link at the top of the page, where you are also able to estimate the shipping charges. If you are unsure of sizes, we recommend that you visit the Epsom shop for a correct fitting. The charts supplied in the Sizing Guide are solely to be used as a rough guide and ordering of incorrect sizes will be your responsibility.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and JCB payments through our secure payment gateway Worldpay. For more information on credit card security please see below.
When confirmation of an order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of an increase in price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. We will email the address you supply us when we receive your order and when your goods are dispatched (Please check the shipping & returns page more details). We will also inform you of any back orders that are placed. If you wish to cancel the back ordered item(s) we will refund the amount due back into your account. Should you wish to try an alternative size, please contact the shop using the contact details shown above, or the "Contact Us" link on the home page.
Cardholder Authenticity and Non-acceptance of Orders
Occasionally we may be unable to take payment for you order. This is often simply due to security measures that have not matched up within the online banking and security system we use, resulting in us being unable to proceed with the order. Often this may be due to small mistakes when inputting your order which means your details held on record with your bank do not match up exactly with the details that you have entered, for instance the billing address not matching the delivery address, the postcode not matching, cardholder authentication such as verified by visa, MasterCard secure code not matching.
Please be rest assured that funds have not been received by Lester Bowden. If this does happen we will be in touch with you so that you can re-enter your details and so proceed with the order.
In case of fraud the proper authorities will be informed and legal action taken. Lester Bowden also reserves the right to reject orders that we consider fraudulent.
Non acceptance of your order may also be a result of one of the following:
- The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- The identification of a pricing or product description error.
- Your failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main terms and conditions.
Stock Levels: The Lester Bowden Website does not display stock levels except in our Sports Club Section. Please be aware that purchases made online are fulfilled in the relevant department using the stock available. From time to time items will not be available despite having been purchased online. When this does happen we make every attempt to fulfil this order as quickly as possible. We also ensure you are kept up to date with any delays.
Epsom College and Hurstpierpoint Orders are forwarded to the College Shops who then deal with these orders themselves. The college shops receive an invoice of your order which they then deal with as if they were a department in the main shop. Epsom Hockey and Epsom Tennis Club orders are e-mailed to Epsom Sports were the stock is kept. From here orders are collated and either put aside or posted off to the customer. We are not privy to your sensitive card data so all orders sent to our College Shops and to Epom Sports will contain no card information.
Tax Charges 20% VAT is included in all the displayed prices online where applicable.
Credit Card Security: We accept credit and debit card payments - Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, JCB. Unfortunately for security reasons we are unable to accept Lester Bowden Account Cards on the site. We take your card security very seriously and we are never partial to your sensitive card information. Customer card and account details are captured on the Worldpay secure servers, which are at the forefront of payment encryption and anti-fraud developments in the financial industry. Worldpay payment processing service supports internationally recognised security checks. At no point is Lester Bowden or any of our employees able to see your credit and debit card details.
