Finding what you want on Lester Bowden couldn’t be easier. There are various ways that you can search for a specific product. One option would be to use the search bar at the top of the website. Q. I have Seen Something In-Store but it’s Not on Your Website?
We try to put most things online that are in-store. If you have come in to the shop and found something and then looked online later and can’t find it. Please call us on 01372 747474 and a member of staff will help you.

Q. Do I Need To Register With Lester Bowden To Shop Online?
No you don’t have to register with us to make a purchase. Though there are many benefits by registering which include a faster checkout process as well as being notified when we go on sale.

Q. How Do I Login/Sign Out Of My Account?
To login to your account please select the ‘Sign In’ option and enter your email address and password. To sign out please select the ‘Sign Out’ option at the top of the page.

Q. I Want To Update My Account Details?
To change your personal details please log in to your account and select ‘Your Account Details’

Q. I have Forgotten My Password?
If you have forgotten your password then all you need to do is go ‘Sign In’ and then instead if entering your details click on the ‘Forgot Your Password’ then enter your email address. If you don’t know which email address you created the account with then please call us on 01372 747474.


Q. What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
The following payment methods are accepted on lesterbowden.co.uk: MasterCard, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta, Maestro & JCB. We do not accept PayPal, cash or cheques for online purchases. All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Q. When Will I Be Charged?
You will be charged before your order is dispatched. If an item is out of stock will we contact you to see if a replacement is suitable or we will refund you.


Q. How Do I Know the Status of My Order
Once we have received your order you will get an automated email saying that it is pending. This means that we are in the process of collating your order and getting it ready to be dispatched to you. When we have dispatched your order you will get another email confirming that it has been shipped. You can check your order status by logging into your account and by clicking the ‘View Order Status’ link.



Delivery Options & Destinations

Q. Can I Change The Delivery Address?
Unfortunately we are unable to change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched. If they haven’t then it is possible to change the delivery address. Please call us on 01372 747474 to discuss if it is possible.

Q. What Happens If I Am Not In When My Parcel Is Delivered?
This depends on how your order was dispatched. For recorded and couriered parcels the delivery company will leave a calling card and the parcel will be taken to your local sorting depots.



Q. Will I Be Charged VAT?
For orders outside the EU, the current VAT value (value added tax) will be refunded back to your card once the goods have been dispatched. VAT is currently 20%.

Q. Will I Incur Import Duties?
Lester Bowden (1898) Ltd cannot be held for any import duties payable on orders. Please check with your custom’s procedures as we are not liable if the goods ordered are held or confiscated by customs for any reason

Q. What Countries Do You Export Too?
We are able to deliver to the following overseas destinations: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & United States.



Items purchased online may be returned within 28 days, or 14 days if sale goods, for exchange or refund providing a valid receipt is presented. This will not affect your statutory Rights. Goods can be returned to us at Lester Bowden. Postage will be at your expense, unless the return is due to a fault in our processing or a fault in the garment, in which case please ring us or email us prior to posting.

In all cases please provide a copy of your receipt, your reason for returning the garment and your full contact details so that we can process your requests as soon as possible. If you wish to exchange the garment due to no fault of Lester Bowden we will need to charge for this additional postage back to you, which will be calculated as before on a weight and packaging basis. If there is a price difference between the garments being exchanged, we will issue a refund or contact you in order to obtain payment for the additional cost accordingly. We will only issue a refund or dispatch an alternative size once we have received the original item back to us. Lester Bowden cannot be held responsible for goods being returned until they have reached the shop. It is advised that you ask for a proof of postage for any items being returned.
